Hawayo Takata’s importance in the practice of Reiki covers, I think, different … different facets. One is that she took this practice and became a practitioner. And she treated thousands of people with all kinds of ailments and all ages and some for one treatment and some for treatments over years. So what she did was she really proved the aspect of healing of Reiki. And that it was combined also with obvious 0053 sort of ähm … what would she call it? … 0058 common sense, practices of diets, not smoking for instance.

So, sometimes she would tell her clients, or her patients, «you can come for Reiki but you have to quite smoking.» Like this. Or, «you wanna lose weight, I put you on a diet and you come and get Reiki.» You know. So, she took this practice and from her two hands really gave the practice of Reiki this depth and understanding that it can be used for anything. She totally trusted whatever happened in the treatment. She would say, “not sick – reaction!” Ohhkay! (laughs)

no, ähm … (0007)
As members of the Alliance they came to conferences and so on. We would share treatment. And their treatment their treatments were quite different sometimes. Members of the Alliance would say “well, how did they get in the Alliance because our form…we’re supposed to have a common form?” And I said, «Yes, but for these Masters… these Masters share the bloodline of Hawayo Takata.» And for me as long as they don’t consciously change their practice, then they are practicing this system.

I have this idea of sitting on one of the picknick-benches with this background of blue sky and sowarrow (in Sowarow)???? and that mountains and just talking a little bit, I don’t know of what about what and we’ll see if it comes about or if it’s… I think that there is something about Reiki and nature and this connection between our practice and the natural spirit of the land and so on. Maybe …. I don’t know…
